Arrival in the heart of Matyó culture, Tard, the home of Matyodesign. As you step into the village, time seems to slow down — the rush of everyday life fades away, and a true slow tourism experience begins. Enjoy the tranquility and the fresh village air, while women dressed in traditional Matyó costumes serve freshly baked scones and welcome you with some homemade pálinka.
At the beginning of the program, we will explain our goals and our commitment to sustainable, community-based tourism and social responsibility, rooted in authentic craftsmanship and centuries-old tradition. Then you can choose from several programs to have a great day. You can get acquainted with Matyodesign embroiderers and the science of embroidery, and create the first Matyó rose of your life with your own chosen colors. You can make snail pasta using tools up to 100 years old with the local women.
